The Funniest GTA Easter Eggs Of All Time
GTA games have always featured several easter eggs ever since its inception in GTA 3. For those of you who are not aware, these are quirky and witty little details and references to real-world events, places, and things. There are hundreds of different easter eggs if you combine all the GTA games but here are some of the funniest ones that we have come across.
Shooting the moon in GTA 3, Vice City, and San Andreas
Rockstar Games
This is one of the most commonly known easter egg present in the first 3D universe of GTA games. If you scope into the moon in any of these three games. You will notice that the size of the moon enlarges if you shoot at it. It resets after three shots. You can almost bet that this easter egg will trip out players who are trying it for the first time.
Gant Bridge Easter Egg in San Andreas
Rockstar Games
If you have played through San Andreas, you would have definitely come across Gant Bridge in San Fierro. The only way you can get to the top of the bridge is through carefully landing using the parachute or by simply typing “ROCKETMAN” on your keyboard and getting the jetpack. What do you get when you take all this effort and reach the top? A sign that says “There are no Easter Eggs up here. Go away.”
The Burger Shot Disclaimer in GTA 4
There are several restaurants present throughout Liberty City in GTA 4. One that stands out is the Burger Shot which often features funny dialogues when you open the door and enter the store. You can find the employees are often reluctant to serve you food and they speak in a very monotone voice as if they are sick of doing the job, dealing with people, and such. If you look closely at the menu, you will find a disclaimer that will read "This Burger may kill you! We can't be held responsible"
Catalina’s Collection of Exes in San Andreas
Rockstar Games
Catalina is one of those characters in GTA who portrays the literal definition of “Insane in the membrane”. For those of you who do not remember, in GTA 3 Catalina shoots Claude in the beginning attempting to run away with the money they stole from a bank heist. Following the same pattern in San Andreas, you can see three unmarked graves outside Catalina’s hideout in the hills with a shovel pick-up swirling around.
Masterchief Knockoff in Grand Theft Auto 5
Rockstar Games
If you go through the Walk of Fame in Los Santos, you will find two people cosplaying as what is a clear reference to the Masterchief from the Halo series. What differentiates these two from the Masterchief is quite obvious when you look at them. We need not say more.
